where did all my hard drive go?

i just reformated and now xp says i have a 2.0 gig hd that woundnt be bad but i got a 100 gig drive how do i get my hd back to normal the format is NTFS

The easy way would be to boot to the Windows XP CD, and during setup choose to delete the partition and let it create/format a new one.

or if you dont want to reformat, in windows XP goto control panel>admisnistrative tools>computer managemnet>storage devices>Disk Management and there you will be able to see the physical size of your partitioned and un-partitioned space on your drive. you can then partition and format any unused space on your drive from there without having to perform a reinstall.

hehe sounds like ou formatted to FAT 16
