just got a new 60 gig WD HDD with 8 MB cache and man is my comptuer cruising! dont know what i did without it!
XP 1600+ @1606 Mhz, GIGABYTE Mobo WD 60GB 8MBc, 512 MB pc 2100 DDR, GF 2 Ultra, Win XP Pro, CDRWx40

i think they are , i have 3 of them :p funny thing is 2 are just sitting here right now not even installed, figured i would use my IBM deathstars that i got back from RMA till they die again.

ohh ohh ive got a deathstar too in fact thats what prompted me to get the WD. This will hopefully never fail and if it does I will have backed things up on my useless 40 gigs of IBM crappiness after I RMA that.

I recently got a 40 GB WD SE drive just for he C: partition. Paired it with a Promise 100TX2 controller and me fly.
