Sure, once there is enough interest/discussion about it to justify a separate forum... I'm not opposed to the idea.

i believe this is a good example of, if you build it they will come. Although it is hard to say. Because there isnt a central linux area, the linux people probably go elsewhere to discuss it. Given a linux groupie, hard-knockers would hone in and the newbies might go along to and learn.

although if you spread everything too thin, place will look too empty. not enough posts in the software forum and people stop looking. people stop looking then people wont post questions there cause they wont get answered. tough call. i agree.
