Dying to...just waiting for the PC version...like I have been for about 2 years since Bungie initially was going to do a PC version.

Then Microsoft stepped in...but I wasn't worried, because they have put out some fine games. But...then the dreaded news of halting the PC version, and making a watered down arcade version for the XBox as a priority...

...and the Cat became VERY angry.

i thought it was awesome on xbox, multiplayer is pretty dam good as well.hard to play more than 2v2 without lag and the software everybody uses to connect with is buggy but its still fun as hell

although it will be better on the PC, especially the multiplayer.

Yah, if you look at it "fresh", it's cool on the XBox. But I'm big into the graphics development of games, and after spending about 2 years looking at tech demo's of it, etc (have some friends who are bigtime game programers for EA, so get to see peeks at these), I was just bummed and 1) the delay, and 2) how they "chopped down the game a bit" for the XBox...making it kinda more "arcade like" than the PC version. Graphics were watered down too...looks like an old 3DFX Voodoo game on glide. Side by side two player on the XBox is a joke too.

Halo plays online using the gamespy tunnel program, other than that i dont know what to tell you.lots of people have done it. only thing is theres no really good servers running it just the people with cable or dsl at home.
