I just got the epox 8k3a+ mb today and was wondering if anyone knew some good websites that go into detail a bit better about bios settings. Looking for good bios tweaks but also an explanation as to what the do.

BIOS questions
i have the same board..just post here what hardware you have (for example, what processor and memory) and i'll tell you the rest..) please be specific about the memory, processor, keyboard and mouse (ps2 or usb), etc..also what OS.. how many sticks of ram and the brand/speed.

P.S. the fastest bios is the 2312.. however it cannot do fsbs between 133-166 stable..altho it will run 133 OR 166 just fine..2328 is slower but allows u to run the other fsbs..the performance difference is just 200 or so MB/s memory bandwidth..the scores are still great. no worries.. use the 2328.. tell me your info and i'll tell u the settings.

CPU - 1.2 tbird
Mem - Samsung(bought from newegg, supposed to be true samsung) 512 (pc2700) chip
Video Card - Visiontek Geforce 3 ti200
CD Rom and Burners - Liteon Dvd 16x and Liteon 40-12-48
HD - Western Digital 60gig and Western Digital 30gig
OS - WinXP
Keyboard and mouse are both ps/2 but my mouse, which is optical, can be usb. I used to have a problem with my usb so i have just stayed with the ps/2. Both are logitech as well.

if 1x512MB samsung then enable 2way interleave..if 2x256 enable 4way interleave.
set it to turbo timings and 1t command rate..
enable/disable raid controller, onboard audio, serial ports, and parallel port...as u need / don't need. enable usb mouse and keyboard support (so dos apps recognize the usb mouse/keyboard)..oh u are on ps2, well nm that..doesn't matter either way..disable the mp identify bit, and disable the axp sse identification thing..
