Tweaking a Cable connection using a PCX1100U
Hi im just trying to maximize my connection so i have no problems with dls and wondered if there was a way to get to my limit or have i surpassed it
Here are the results at the Roadrunner site
http://www.hot.rr.com/speedtest/misp/speed.asp
Time Warner Cable High-Speed Internet
Bandwidth Results
Loaded 1356258 bytes in 4.457 seconds.
Your throughput is:
2434 Kb/s (kiloBITS per second)
304 KB/s (kiloBYTES per second)
Ive used tweaks and its working pretty well but i was wondering if there was any other ways to maximize speed

SerialKiller: it looks like your at or about the cap for DSL. what do you think the speed should be?304 KB/s (kiloBYTES per second is = to about 2.3 Mb/s and that is a good speed . unless you have something other than a home dsl that is cap at 1500 down.If that is what you have you can tweak till the cows come home and it will stay about the same. A good tweak setup will help in other ways .
