PPPoE

ya i want to download one of the patches from the sguide site but one says for PPPoE and one says no PPPoE

which one should i get?

i use road runner cable. with a RCA cable modem. i use a linksys router.

PPPoE is generally only used in ADSL connections. Very unlikely in a cable connection.
To confirm, right click network neighbourhood (network places in win me), click properties and see if there is an adapter installed called PPPoE.
