I was just curious that if a modem is registered and you move it to another place that is setup for broadband will it still work? Here is the situation. My gf works for the local cable company(producer not installer) and is moving to a new apartment across town. She gets the free digital cable and broadband and I was curious as to what it takes to move it from one place to another, besides someone coming out and "turning it on" at the box. Another reason I am asking is because the guy that keeps trying to help her has a crush on her and I want to get him out of the picture as much as possible.
Thanks

You can pretty much hook it up and are good to go, just make sure that they get the numbers of your modem on to your new account. Even though you will still have cable the account will change and they need the info on the new one. Should be fairly easy cause she works for them. If you dont give them the #'s it will eventually go offline.
