Anyone like to fish?

Post by EvilAngel »

I have tried many times to fish and cannot get the hang of it. Baiting the hook kinda grosses me out and the thought of taking the fish off the hook grosses me out too . I am such a bad fisher I couldn't even catch a cold while I was there.. hehe

My boss went on a 10 day deep sea fishing trip(albacore) and brought all of us employees some of the tastiest fish I have ever ate.

I think going deep sea fishing would be kinda extreme due to the sun, water, just to many of natures powers against me :)

Anyways any of you guys fish?

Yes Yes I Do I love Fishing Deep Sea Fishing Owns I love that too. I got some Mad Snapper When I went Last Year. It will take Alot to gross me out.

Watch out though Fishing Gets Expensive I have walked into the middle of a lake and swam down to get My $15 Terminator. I am a pretty Cheap person so if i see lures i will swim out and get them. I am only 15 soon to be 16 so i cant really afford a nice boat plus most money goes to comp.
We have seen their kind before. They're the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way to where it ends in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies.

Hehe, I will be pulling the boat out of the carport in a week! Fished all of my life and love it.

Nowadays, I mostly fish the Chesapeake Bay for rockfish (striped bass),flounder & sea trout. I have caught some huge rockfish to date. Here's an example of the fish I target:

yes you do need another license, well at least in NJ you do. There is two ways to get it here that I know of. You can take a course and then the test, or skip the course and go right for the test. Then if you pass you get your license. I believe you have yo be 14.

A liscence to operate a boat is NOT needed in any state. However, all boats must be registered with the states dept of game & fisheries or similar agency.

Some states require certification for operating personal watercrafts such as jet ski's or a cert is erequired in certain waterways.

Also, some states have different regs re freshwater and saltwater registrations.

All states require fishing liscences and again those liscences differe for fresh and salt water.

However, no saltwater liscence is required to fish any body of water in Kansas or Utah. Go figure....

YES JOHN, WE ARE STILL ON AS SOON AS I GET MY MOTOR RUNNING SMOOTH AGAIN. Tune up, gearcase oil, etc etc. We may even do the Indian River Bay/Inlet area!

my dad's a huge fisherman. he went every other day my whole life. but i could never really get into it. i tried. i went deap sea fishing about 2 yrs ago with some old friends. i caught a huge albacore tuna. it was pretty cool. i made my dad proud. but i spent most of the morning throwing up. i guess for some reason over the years i developed sea sickness. it sucks. so i doubt if i will go out in the ocean. however i think it would be cool to take my step kids and my child out fishing. kids love it. and it would be relaxing to get out into some peacefull surroundings. my guy can fish with the kids and i can get tan! sounds fun to me!

Thats how the carp are here. You got atleast 50 swimming up and down this little creek by my house. They range from 10-18lbs id say. One time there was soo many, I just dropped my bait in the water and walked away. Then I heard the scrapping of my pole moving away from me, and got a good size one.

I gotta drive around 45 Minutes away from my house to fish for salmon and trout. But its worth it. Where I fish you cant see the trout or salmon, but thats cool because your reeling in and all of a sudden you feel this big tug and ya got one on. Kinda cool cuz its unexpected when its gonna happen.

sorry had to cut my face out, Id look really bad it was early and crap....

Hi EvilAngel

yep liked to fish. more really into just spending the time out on the water with my buddy. fish, laugh and after crack a few pops.

Caught a big sailfish once . that was a hoot.

talk about a fight. my arms where sore for a week.

it's a great way to spend time and where i live, it's called the Kawartha Lakes District. they are literally hundreds of lakes here.

Bass, trout, salmon. pickerel, muskie, you name it we have it.

had a girlfriend once who liked fishing. she was a charmer. if you get you one of those, your smilin.

I've been fishing all of my life, can't live without it I guess. I brought my kids up with the intimate passion for fishing, even my daughter was stoked (and still is at 15). We spent most of our good times fishing, even till this day. I remember packing the fisherman's lunch:
Vienna Sauage, Huck of cheese, beef jerky, Chips and cold drinks (Ginger Ale).

These are the times I will never forget! EVER! :D

Ever been salmon fishing with 2 poles, and get a bite on both at the same time? Lots o' fun. :D

My dad and I spent hundreds of hours figuring out the worlds problems while we waited for the fish to come. They were outstanding times, that have come to an end.

No more salmon = No more fun. :(

i grew up fishing (spinning, bobbing, and fly-fishing).

Fly-Fishing is far-and-away my favorite. it takes some real practice to get the hang of casting (i must have lost 60 flies casting improperly), but seeing the fish actually take the fly (and some fish like largemouth bass leap out of the water to snag it) since its floating on the water's surface is very exciting.

I love fishing. Go about 150 days a year. I don't know what I'd do without fishing.
I hope to find a woman to marry someday that loves to fish as much as me. If anyone's interested, please send a pic of your
Bass boat. :D
