Just put XP disk in and put on again and save what you have now, you will have all your programs, not a new install

If you do it right it will not overwrite whats on your computer but save it and put another copy of XP on

Yes, put the coffee on and reformat, no telling what you have done trying to fix current problem, very few changes have to be made to Winders to make it go faster, you only hurt your self by changing things or downloading El Crapo

Look in the registry at the following places to if see lop.com is there and simply change the entry to anything you want.
