here i wasent in school today and my friends dont know how to do it!. one pice of the h/w

1. subtract and divide

2. invert both sides, multiply both sides by denominator

5. divide both sides by 2pi

6. subtract the non-y variable and its co-effecent, then divide by y's coeffecnet

7. multiply by p's denominator

4. same as 6

7b. divide by coeffecent of everything in the ('s then subtract

8. same as 7b

1) r=(s+-4)*1/3
2) -g=c*1/d
3) p=(m/n)*(1/-q)

yuo = teh lazy

1.) r= s-4/3
2.) g=d/c
3.) p=mq/n
4.) 0=c-ax-by ( don't ask me don't know why)
5.) r=c/2 x pi
6.) y= -5x/4
7.) t=3m/2 - 4
8.) s=t-y/3

don't ask me how I came up with those...
didn't actually work it out...my Calc did that..
I wouldn't have done your work for you..

u sure?
I redid it in my calc TI89
with a*x+b*y=c
instead of ax+by=c

and it came up with
y= -(a*x-c)/b

I learned and forgot Algebra by the time I got into HS...haven't used it since and I couldn't even begin to solve a problem. Geometry on the other hand, now there's something with real world applications...

Hmm... You couldn't remember a thing from the textbooks yet you still remember that only ODD numbered Qs answer are on the back?
