cable modem help.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything bad about the RCA cable modems. I was thinking of buying one.

Is there a superior brand of modems in the $100-$200 range?

RCA's are great. I have had one for two and a half years with great speeds and no problems.

thanks for your help. I've tried doing some research on the subject but all modems get equally mixed reviews.

I've heard nothing but great things about surfboard modems.
