This is new, I just got prompted to register before I can download from http://www.download.com.

hmm, doesn't appear to letting me cancel by it either...could download.com be going the way of fileplanet soon?

Wasn't like this earlier tonight either. I HATE CHANGE!!!!!!

It has been having you register for a week or two now.... You only have to register after you get a few files, I just throw in some fake info, send it and then download the file. Then it just goes to a cookie and it doesn't bug you again, as long as you don't delete the cookies. And if you do happen to delete the cookies, just fill in more bogus info again.

This has been going on for about 2 weeks, just not on all files. Anyways i have setup a crap account. So when it ask you to log on use the following download@yahoo.com download

remember guys, if it asks you for an age...say you are 13 and then they can't ask you anymore info because of the privacy laws...but they may also not allow you to d/l anything either because of it.
