Just an FYI, FragaL: I have used no tweaks since moving to XP and have awesome speeds. Do alot of reading in the tweaks forum before jumping the gun. There's quite a few posts of slowed performance there. I just decided that 'if it ain't broke...' and never tried any of the tweaks. I used to tweak the crap out of 9x and when I moved to XP, my speeds went up quite substantially, so I just left it alone. Good luck!

Same thing here. No tweaking was neccessary. I did use Dr. TCP to adjust my rwin, but that was it.
I used cablenut to adjust my RWIN and several other settings. Also did a bunch of memory tweaks.. and various other tweaks. I've made a super fast system into a lightning speed comet!

Originally posted by Prey521 I use the Infinity 2000 Tweaks from Cyberwizard, really sped up my downloads and browsing with XP.
I noticed that before the tweaks in 9x or 2k the SG tcp analyzer told me a bunch of things to do and then after tweaking said everything was fine, but with XP without even tweaking the analyzer said everything was fine

*Browsing tip*
Right click your taskbar and select Task Manager from the menu. Click the Processes tab, select IEXPLORE.EXE, right click it and select Set Priority > High. This will make your browser more responsive. I haven't tried Real Time yet but it works good on High. *LOL*
Note: You'll have to do this everytime you run your Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, it doesn't save as High... Oh well. I never close my browser anyway!
More tips to come.
