Your Copy's expire time depends on which CD key that you used to unlock the trial version of XP.

version 2002 is pretty... beta. It will expire, you wouldn't be able to log in, and you have to reinstall everything with another OS this time.

use that 199 bucks of yours to get the XP. Please don't use the net for illegal activities such as software piracy.

Course I entered the code. What is MS going to do come to my house and format my computer? Only thing that IS possible is SP1 doesnt update users using this key or locks you out completely but if that is so someone will hack that. MS knows they can't stop piracy and they even stated that. They are trying to stop the casual piracy which WPA will stop for sure. Your regular Joe Shmoe doesn't know anything about hacks cracks or anything like that. So they accomplished what they wanted to.

Yeah, that might be why I went slower with it. Haven't found the right NIC Buffer tweaks for me... I guess I'm just better without them.

Just a heads up, but Win XP has been released to OEM builders for a month now. There is no need to wait till the 25th to purchase it. In addition, build 2600 corp edition will not expire.
