TCP/IP Properties question???

Get help and discuss anything related to tweaking your internet connection, as well as the different tools and registry patches on the site. TCP Optimizer settings and Analyzer results should be posted here.

TCP/IP Properties question???

Under TCP/IP Properties,in the NetBios tab,shouls the box be checked that says ( I want to enable NetBios over TCP/IP) and if not ,how do ya uncheck it. Mines grayed out??

If it's grayed out I don't believe you can change it :)

Lobo is right on, if it is "grayed out" you can't change it!

There is a web page out there... somewhere... that walks you through various TCP/IP properties to make you connection more "hacker proof" but still functional as far as printer and file sharing over the NetBios protocol, but I can't remember the URL!

Maybe somebody with a better memory than mine can help you out?
