Is the Globalwin WBK38 heat sink good enough to keep a 1.4ghz t-bird cool?

Yes, it's noisy but it does it's job very well.

The heat might be a bit higher, but it'll get the job done. I'm currently using the CAK-38 (Copper heatsink with the 7k fan.) What I've done to quiet down the fan a bit is reverse the flow of air, so that it's sucking air up through the heat sink and I've put an alpha like cover around the f and hs. It's still hearable, but much quieter. Godbless Alpha for their inventive idea.

yes but if ur gonna OC dont waste the cash on it, running at 1.4 though it will do good.
