I love mine, but the ones off the net we are having problems getting RWIN above 65535, nothing works so if this happens to you just use one of your secret jet blasters, I got my new Linksys NIC and was almost crying when I took 3Com out to replace, well not replace but test and guess what, the Linksy's is faster than the 3Com, I am using the XP driver as I am to scared to touch it, but it is de stuff, really. :) :) :) :)

Well sometimes old age can be rough on learning new things and with the increasing knowlege of Todays technology, the younger generations pick up these things quiker than us old folks.
I know there are some older ones out there who has figured alot of this stuff out (like Dannjr). But give CableNut and JonG credit. they are good at what they do. I don't intend to forget those over here like Mr Phillip. But you get my drift.

Wisdom only teach you not to be so brass with people and to be more patcince with the younger generations.

Thanks for the Compliments anyway! :)
I guess I'm suppose to say you're smart too? heh heh heh

Ok.. It's gone on long enough!

Post by Buggyman »

I told Evil not to let this go on too long before someone miss the gist of it.
There is no Uncapping version of the CableNut Program.
:( :( I know.
But the fun has gone on long enough.
Those of you with sharp eyes figured it out real quick. Good Job! :)
But those of you who missed it... Look at the font prints on the picture.
They don't match.
Sorry to burst your cloud.... It was clean fun.. :D

Buggy

I am learning that is all I can do. Though I have a few years on JonG and the nut I am by no means old and wise lol

I know enough to know that they, and prolly you, of course Danjr, know more than I do. THE NUT has been so kind as to help me out on numerous occasions and THE MAN has been there just as much with me. I truely do appreciat their wisdom :)

P.S. You don't need to say I am smart too, lol ....................Like I said earlier, I am only smart enough to know that I need to learn more :D

You said;
I am learning that is all I can do. Though I have a few years on JonG and the nut I am by no means old and wise lol
That's the key right there.. a wise man is wise because he is constantly learning.
Those who THINK they KNOW IT ALL are doomed because they are not open to ideals.
I love hanging around dreamers... they are the way of the future. They challenge the statis quote and and build something better.
If it had not been for the likes of Bill Gates and others.. we would still be stuck on the BIG BLUE way of thinking. :)
My problem with all of this is I never could understand the I's and O's of programing.
I failed miserably at math.... Root? I think is what make plants grow. Ha Ha Ha
I think you get my drift.
My wife is a DOS person.. and she has trouble understanding windows.
I'm a Windows person and DOS to me is a shortcut to crashing a computer. :)
See yah
