excite home page

very strange. when i log in to my excite homepage i get my neighbors home page. however it contains some of my own custom content. all i can think is my isp has gotten our log in info mixed up. any other ideas? thx

Sounds like you and your neighbor are friends and hang with each other? If he logs onto the excite page with his name on your computer, a cookie will be installed. When you log back on, you have to change it to your name to get your settings back. Or, you can just kill all history and cookies and you're back to square one.

This happens especially when you guys don't sign out from the excite page.

I don`t know about that but I have had some problems getting it to load lately.

Other pages load fine, any ideas ?

i log in with my info and get his page. he logs in with his info and gets my page. the cookies thing kinda made sense so i tried deleting cookies and temp files to no avail. still get his page when logging in. besides....although ive logged on to his puter, he has never been on mine. and isnt the cookie stored only if the user checks "save name and password on this computer" ? o well...thinkin i will call harron@home and see if they have anything. thanks a bunch.
