DNS Settings - bt - Infinity broadband and sparkling new DLINK Router issues!

Been trying for the last few weeks to get my DNS settings changed in my new sparkling Dlink 890L router. Got BT infinity broadband and wanted to change the default DNS settings within the router, which I have done, but when rebooted etc the internet connection doesnt work. Does anyone know if you can use 3rd party DNS settings with Bt infiinity broadband? I know you cant change the Home hub 5, hence why got another router , but even after changing still no luck. Any known issues? thank you

Have you managed to get Dlink 890L works with BT inifinity? Recently I purchased the same router but I am still having issues with BT infinity & VDSL modem. Any info & tips would be much appreciated.

Changing the DNS settings shouldn't make anything stop working unless they're doing something custom/funny with them.

But why do you want to change them in the first place? Let's start there and see if there's another way to accomplish what you want.
