Who else is working today (Christmas Eve)?

Post by Easto »

I'm going in around noon and hope to be out by 7 or 8pm. All signs are pointing that there really isn't anything going to be happening but someone has to man the phones.

11-7 here.

Not sure why, I think we had one customer in the final hour.

Real bummer was wanting to go for dinner with a couple friends after work. Vietnamese place closed, sushi place closed, Mexican place closed...none of which mentioned anything other than their regular hours on the answering machines.

Ended up at the microbrewery for a couple beers but damn I'm hungry.

We had one customer keep us going. They said they would be done by 1pm and we finished at 6pm. If only I was getting paid by the hour!

I"m working the day after too. Although it shouldn't be too bad, I'd rather be at home finishing up the tamales.

Thank you and your co-workers, much appreciated.

Made one of my few 911 calls a couple of nights ago.
11:55, heard 2 quick shots, followed by 3.

In the morning I'd figure hunters (by the bay). During the day, slower shots, I'd think target shooting.

That late I thought either a bear or something bad.
Better safe than sorry.

Anyways, happy holidays and hope you enjoy your time off.
