well its that time again. My current system is now about 4 years old so its time to upgrade. Need your opinions/suggestions between AMD or intel.

I use my system for heavy surfing/ downloading/watching video, medium gaming, and also do alot of VM experimentation using vmware desktop

I already have a GTX 650, segate bericuda 2 tarabyte Hard drive and 700 watt coolmaster PS and new Zalman Z9 Plus Mid Towerr case that i will be using in my new system.

Intel is simply the better chip these days.

Essentially the only reason to buy AMD is if you couldn't afford Intel for some reason.

Or if you like AMD over Intel for whatever reason. Im not saying its rational but i am saying i am one of them. :D
