Best coaxial cable to buy?

Post by jbrdbr111x »

Ok so my cable company wants me to pay near $600 to run cable to 2 rooms that already have cable wiring but it's really old wiring and I've been having tons of tv and networking issues that I feel are related to bad wiring.

I'm looking to buy some coaxial cable, just not sure what's the best, and what it may cost me per foot or bundle but I doubt it would cost me $600. Any suggestions on good cable or does it matter what kind of coaxial it is?

Just get some from Monoprice.
It's not the cable that costs 600 bucks..it's the time and supporting materials. Running cable can often be time consuming and "not fun". Also have to consider wall plates to mount it properly in rooms, terminating ends, etc.

Thanks, yea all the boxes, plates, etc are already in place for the existing cable, just gotta snip the ends and pull it under the house to the splitter about 10 ft away..lol
