SG member sad news

Post by Forgetful »

Hello all,
Sad to break the news but MissTynker2 passed away last month. I resisted posting
in case a member of her family was asked to do it but as nothing has appeared I
feel she would have wanted people on here to know.

She had been seriously ill since March this year and i've little contact with her since then.
She stopped folding about that time, the scores for her are mine as we combined about 6
years ago.

She found new heart from this site, and the folding in particular, which was the reason i
introduced her to this place. As she was a cancer survivor it was deeply personal to her.

Thanks for reading.

oh wow, i was wondering about her and others that don't post here much anymore.
she was always so cheerful and always had nice words to everyone, the few PM's we shared were very pleasant as well.

if you can , send condolences to her family and i am so very sorry for your loss, she will be missed and always remembered by me.

perhaps we should all start folding again in her name.

I watched too many people pass this last year. It hurts every single time. It's like these people, even though we've never met in person, are family.

My prayers and condolences to the family and friends.

My thoughts go out to her family. She was always very kind. When my sister was diagnosed with cancer, she helped me out by reconizing the stages. She will be missed here... :(

That sucks. She was a long time member here and often brought a different view of things to discussions.

I had the chance to correspond with her a few years ago, we chatted about our families. Tynk was a kind, thoughtful and thoroughly wonderful individual.

Miss you,
david

The wind whispers her name, so sad to hear this news. I considered her a good friend when I was a regular at SG. She was a incredible person with a good heart.

Geez, I've been here long enough to watch kids grow up, people go through major life changes & sadly folks pass away.
It's sad when we lose someone and nice when we can show respect with a few kind words.
RIP lovely lady.
