D-Link Modem + Aztech Bad Modems dead

Post by frontier2002 »

I have at least 5 D-Links modem and 3 Aztech modems gone dead with just 2 common factors

1. Strike by lightning
2. Dead by itself.

Now my question is those modems which is dead by itself. Can we flush out the old settings or whatever data it contents?
This is because most of the Modem gone dead by itself. I am still thinking it could be revive in someway. Please advise

Try looking into surge protectors and or groundig rods both are in expensive if i'm not mistaken in some areas the power company could put on one for you as part as their service if i'm not mistaken.
