How to black Mac Address on Cisco RV082

i just purchase this cisco RV082 new about 1 month now i have 40 computer connected to it however i have this one computer i would like to block it from accessing the internet how can i block the Mac address in this router where is this feature located at and how do i set it

Give it a DHCP reservation, create a firewall rule to disallow access outside of your network to that IP address you assigned it.

i did not assign it a ip i just let dhcp assign it automaticly that's why i was thinking more of the mac address cant beleive this router dont have this feature

DHCP reservation is how you handle internal clients, you take its MAC address..and tell DHCP to give that NIC a specific LAN IP every single time...so for example, //that// computer will always get 192.168.1.189.

Now in your firewall rules, deny internet access to 192.168.1.189

MAC filtering is an old, outdated, insecure method of allowing/disallowing wireless clients, not wired. It is easily bypassed, therefore it's not a common feature seen (not to mention used) on wired routers...especially business grade models.

ok understand now however cant find the DHCP reservation setting in the RV082 do u know under which are it's located in the web interface it's located i found the firewall rules but not the DHCP reservation
i'm not on a domain server or anything just regular workgroup with the router handling DHCP

Log into your RV082 routers web admin
Long the top row of navigation tabs in black..the 3rd one in from the left is called "DHCP"...click on that.
Right in the middle of that page is where you create your static entries for DHCP.
