Defrag
On a win 7 home premium OS, is it a good idea to defrag it every now and then?

It's defaulted to "On"...with a preset of every Wednesday at 0100....so if you leave your PCs on by default, you don't have to go schedule it ..because it's already scheduled..by default.

Yep I stand corrected.. I believe I was thinking of re-arranging the time/dates from the default. meh

If you want a much better defrag program for free that allows for a boot time defrag as well, use PuranDefrag.

Yes this is one pretty good..used it a few times here lately since I ran across it.
Also now I know why I said it wasn't on a schedule by default.. I was thinking of Avast and it's no scan schedule by default lol loaded it earlier before and again today on a few comps.

Does this apps just run on its own where I dont have to do anything and just install it?
