not sure if you know or not, but Intel just recalled all the P67 and H67 motherboards....

i would wait

I was told that the 1156 board had somthing wrong but he said no problem with 1155

This is the only thing I've found to say what "Isn't" affected... at this point I'd avoid the Sandy Bridge chipsets until they are tested more, no sense in wasting the money to be a early adapter and a test dummy for a product that should have been right to start with.

As for the system being a good buy..depends on what your using it for, I'd drop the 500gig drive for a faster smaller gig raptor drive or a SSD but again depends on what it's use is for.

FYI this only affects the SATA 3GB controller- not the 6.
