speed drop help please

speed drop help please

i paid for 3mb high speed internet and my speed drop to 500-600 kbps
i restarted my 2wire modem/router and the speed stay the same.my phone has a lot of static too would that cause the problem?

DSL? If your getting static its prob a bad place in the line or father out. Call your provider and tell them whats up.

When there is static over the ear piece of the phone, it means there is a fault along the phone line disrupting both voice and internet signals. You will need to call in the tech of the phone company to locate the cause of the fault and rectify this problem.
