When I start explorer the program starts and my home page loads up but then a message comes up that it is not working properly and it is looking for a cure to the problem then it says it must shut down.I'm using windows 7.

can you post a screen shot of this error? Sounds like spyware but I can't be sure without looking at it.

Uninstall any/all toolbars. Launch Internet Explorer in safe mode, and go into settings..and reset to defaults.
Now try.

Downlaoded and used spybot and it fixed it
