What do you have for firewall settings in group policy on the domain?

Not exactly sure. Do I need to look under gpedit.msc on my PC?

Btw, I'm not signing into the domain, just the local machine if that makes a difference?

That's the question. I need to allow one damn program to accept incoming connections.

I went into the rules and changed what I need to there, but still no luck.

Whats the program? Windows 7 firewall is pretty much going to protect against stuff trying to connect OUT not in. You prob need to find out what ports the incoming connection will be on and open them through your router.

otherwise try this too

It's definitely windows 7 firewall issue. The same program worked fine on XP with using the EXCEPTIONS tab.

I'll have to give it another look on Monday... Too much of a pain to remote in and try things.

Actually.. both. By default blocks all incoming. And finally Win7 gives you control of outbound...if you wish.

Cable, what if you log into the domain?
When you fist set the PC up on this network, did you set it for home, work, or public? You have those 3x different profiles.

Didn't try logging into the domain. I think I set it up for work. I'll try and remote in and see if I can get any screen caps.

Removed myself from the Domain. My button is still grayed out even though I am now on the "public" network. Reset all the rules.

Didn't not have a chance to add the inbound program to the rules.
