I was reading elsewhere that the MTU value for cable internet should be 1500.

Any truth to this?

Didn't my last TCP Analyzer results show the MTU already @ 1500? Unless I'm seeing and reading something different here.

Also I didn't see the value for "LAN Request Buffer Size" in your settings above.......I assume it's 32768, correct? (or leave it blank?)

Here's my results with the settings you provided. Thanks.

Trogers....leaving the TCP Receive Window BLANK seems to cause slower loading pages. Did you have a chance to check out the latest TCP analyzer I posted w/ your settings (post #9)?

Also what is the correct settings for these 2:

ToS: DefaultTOSValue: 0 or 80?

Windows Scaling: Checked or Unchecked?

It seems like you and Rollingstone varied on these 2.

Thanks.

p.s. using Charter Cable High Speed Internet 10 Mbps down/2 Mbps up

ToS: DefaultTOSValue: 0 or 80?
it's depend on "IP ToS" Result

Windows Scaling: Checked or Unchecked?
it's depend on "RWIN Value",
more than (>=) 65535 "checked",
less then (<) 65535 "unckecked"

Thanks for your input akbarri. I've received 3 different settings from 3 different members here and I'm unsure which one is recommended for my ISP and speed.

Below is my analyzer with your values. Please tell me if it's correct. Thx

Just updated my cable modem today to a Motorola SB6120 and I re-ran the analyzer test and it said that the "check bit" is incorrect. Can someone please check it out and tell me what changes in TCPOptimizer I need to make. Thanks.
