Win 7 - 64bit free Anti Virus ??

Post by Easto »

I've been using Avira but from what I can tell from their site they do not support 64bit Win7.

http://www.avira.com/en/products/avira_ ... nal_3.html

Or am I to assume the 32bit product works on 64 bit systems?

Thanks,
Easto

It seems to be working on mine. the GUI runs a bit rough and it has problems with f@h SMP which isn't odd. No program errors that I'm aware of so I'm sticking with it for now.

You might be able to install Avast!

That may work. One nice thing about this program, is you can set it to email you alerts if it detects anything on your computer. :thumb:
