I ran a earlier beta and it looks nice! But I've since just gone back to 3.0 and I'll wait for the final release which should be soon.

Early-mid july is likely as they have the RC stage to go still.

I'm finding that it hangs a bit...when jumping from page to page. The next page appears quickly enough once it starts..but there's this slight hang in between til it begins loading.

This is on a pipe that just got upgraded from 40 megs..we're varying at around 60 megs right now, 4 gigs, Vista 64.

Holding off upgrading on my laptop and home machines.

what? didn't you read the release notes from the RC's or the beta's? Its pretty much the same for the final release.

Firefox 3.5 offers many changes over the previous version, supporting new web technologies, improving performance and ease of use, and adding new features for users:

[INDENT]
  • Improved tools for controlling your private data, including a Private Browsing Mode.
  • Better performance and stability with the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine.
  • The ability to provide Location Aware Browsing using web standards for geolocation.
  • Support for native JSON, and web worker threads.
  • Improvements to the Gecko layout engine, including speculative parsing for faster content rendering.
  • Support for new web technologies such as: HTML5 <video> and <audio> elements, downloadable fonts and other new CSS properties, JavaScript query selectors, HTML5 offline data storage for applications, and SVG transforms.

It's ok, although I'm having slightly worse performance now than I was around this time last year when 3.0 came out. I also upgraded my PC. They want to be on the cutting edge I guess, bad news for people with older PC's who like firefox.
