I was hoping someone could help me resolve an issue I have.I am trying to get my pc which is attached to a cisco 2950 switch on the net
Cable modem provides broadband internet access is connected to my linksys.
Linksys 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.128
cisco router int E0 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.128
E0 connects to linksys
Cisco router int E1 192.168.1.129 255.255.255.128
E1 connects to switch
pc connected to switch 192.168.1.130 255.255.255.128
gateway 192.168.1.129
I have set on cisco router
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1
My cisco router can ping all ip addresses we have specified thats from linksys router to pc which is attached to the switch.
But the pc which is attached to the switch can not ping the linksys router.
And the linksys router can not ping the interface which is connected to my switch. Can some one please tell me where I am going wrong.I did originally have rip configured but was told I did not need it if I just specified a route.
