Hi everybody...
Problem.
I have a guy at my home that installed internet on my PC but set it in a LESS Privileged Account. (he says, this prevents from damage)
I need internet in my Administrator account, so as to work with internet applications, that I cannot do in less privileged mode.. like Nokia Update etc.
He had done some IP address changes that can not be accessed in Less Privileged mode.
But one day there was a problem that required net. he just changed some values in TCP IP properties Administrator and did something that brought internet in Administrator.
But he removed it suddenly b4 I cud understand...?
Now what..
Can anyone tell me how to bring internet connection in My administrator mode.
I am paying for it guys but I have to login in that account to access net and this is not fair..
Solution Needed PLZ.
** Help neede ** *Only Professionals **
First off I think the way you are asking for help might be deemed sort of offensive. Making a point of asking for only professional help is an insult, everyone here is trying to help other users out of kindness. If you want only professional help pay a professional to come and help you.
Secondly, "I have a guy at my home that installed internet on my PC but set it in a LESS Privileged Account. (he says, this prevents from damage)". Who is this "guy"? If it is your home computer and you are paying for the PC and the internet you should be able to access it anyway you want. Seems really fishy to me, like you are trying to circumvent some policy put in place by a school or workplace. Tell this "guy" that you want to be able to access the internet with an administrative account.
BTW it is 100% true that running as an administrator for doing daily tasks does put you at more risk than using a limited account. I always use a limited account, and switch to an admin account only when necessary. This is one of the biggest reasons Windows is so vulnerable to attack, by default everyone is an administrator.
