oooh i want that halo green case mod as well.. i love green.. ooh along with the XCM Black 360 Case w/ Green LED i want that one too.. as for the controller though.. i guess i gotta find one that would match that..

Well Im not a big fan of halo either but I just like the green.. I just wish it was brighter.. like a neon green possibly..

morbidpete did you take a look at the mods ?
I dont feel like opening case on my 360, is the firmware being loaded through USB port or do I have to open the case.

ive looked into the firmware mods a lot and done alot of reasearch. But the new firmwares are changing almost everyweek. dont feel like opening my case everyweek. im waiting for the blaster 360 from xecuter to come out. they just realeased it to beta testers so it should be out soon.
as far as the actuall flashes are performed depends on your drive. most you have to hook up to your mother board via the sata connecter on the ODD. with the blaster 360. you open your case once. install it. then you can flash and access the hdd via the sata and usb port that is added. its a real nice product. check there site for pics

Opening the 360 case is HORROR.

There are 58 plastic pins and they are tight it's unbelievable.
Make sure once it's done you can fit in HDD properly otherwise you can throw it in garbage.

Most of the firmware is released every week to make sure compatibility with games is good.There are no major changes in any of the firmwares.
Will take a look at the 360.

dont buy modchip, find modder on craiglist in your area and let him flash it with latest firmware.

and as it goes for downloaded games, cough cough, you never know if they are patched or not unless you get it from reliable source, thats why so many people were banned playing crackdown.
Nowdays you are unable to play unpatched, not NTSC game with proper firmware anyway.

yeah
but latest fw's will not allow play games without sec patch, it will refuse the disc.
Oh and price is around $40 or less for flash ...6 months free reflashing and follow up $10 bucks.
You just sit there and watch (10 minutes/depends how experienced is the modder), warranty are not voided.If something happens with your 360 the modder will reflash it back and you can sent it back to MS for repair/replacement.
