1360Kbps/114Kbps. PacBell ADSL. static IPs (no PPPoE). rippin' pings (21 - 28ms on fast local servers, 16ms to gateway, 12ms to DNS server), but E-mail services tend to suck from time to time.

My max speeds with Optimum Online are 10mbps down/1 mbps up.

My usual speeds are 5-6.5mbps down, and 800-1000kbps up. Sometimes I can get up to 8mbps off fast ftp sites.
My pings are also good, which makes me totally happy, lol :)

It is almost impossible to give you "speeds that they will get", because that will be influenced by so many factors;

a select few are listed:

Single channel ISDN - 64kbps
Basic Rate ISDN - 128kbps

T1 - 1.5Mbps
T3 - 45Mbps
E1 - 2Mbps
E3 - 34Mbps

ADSL - ~8Mbps
Cable - ~30Mbps

Ethernet - 10Mbps
Fast Ethernet - 100Mbps
STM1 (OC-3 for the americans) 155Mbps
STM4 (OC-12) 622Mbps
Gigabit Ethernet - 1000Mbps.
STM16 (OC-48) 2488Mbps
STM64 (OC-192) 9.6Gbps

The last five are commonly used in the internet backbone. We have multiple upstream connections at work - via fast ethernet, and STM1. The only limit really is the power of the router. The links havent been maxed yet.

640kbps/90kbps Verizon is my TELCO, but Telocity DSL is my provider. Service is suppose to be 1.5kbps/300kbps, but Verizon limits it. :-( Screw you Verizon!
