But if your sytems freeze or lock up, then I'd say don't worry about folding till you've got that straightened out.

While it is true I do like a good RPG every so often.... my name comes from an old GEnie account back in the BBS days. : )

Sorry I have fallen to the wayside but like a few others, new computer and forgot to start back up again. Thanks for the reminder.

(10 points to anyone who is old enough to remember GEnie. Heh.)

both laptops are a lost cause..both are crap..

I know the HDD is bad in one of them...I can hear it sometimes when it spins down.
The other one, no clue what it could be...supposedly overheating, but it's turned off only twice on me in like 3 months. Also it only has 256mb RAM, that's an even bigger problem with it.

Hell Yes - Like Philip you're still around, did you move to a different name/team or lose interest?
My electric bill was becoming excessive. Closing my farm saved roughly 120 USD per month. I now chose directly donate monies to my key causes.

It works out better for me to simply donate money directly.

Had to find our members. For a while we have been losing members and production, now we've leveled off and sometimes start to gain again.

ryo

His wife was/is battling cancer. He got to a point where running his business and taking care of the kids and her, got to be too much for everything he was trying to do. Somethings had to be put on the back burner.

Folding was one of them for now.

About Annette. She's not doing very well. ryo thinks it's only a matter of a few weeks at best.

They are great people. This is a sad thing to see happen.

Hey YOS, just stopped by for old times sake and read your message. I guess I got caught up in other parts of life. If I can ever get Comcast to fix my connection so it is reliable I will start folding again.

I'm folding on the PS3 now... I'll leave it run while not playing (at least until it breaks).. :)
Simply run adaware, spybot, ZoneAlarm, HijackThis, AVG, update windows daily, have a router, don't open e-mail, turn off action scripting, don't use P2P networks, don't violate EULAs, and wear a condom to get Windows secured.

People say Linux is alot of work!
