you'll have to tell these guys quite a bit more than that for any help:
tcp/ip analyzer results
speedtest.net results
tracert http://www.google.com copy and paste
any modems/routers brand names, model numbers
mac/pc
chicken or beef

Post your TCP Analyzer report and tell us what speed you paid your ISP to give you.

Without these info, we cannot help you.

please do not ever post your ip address ever, ever, ever, ever ,ever again. :rotfl:

that's usually a big no no to post it to the public because some sneaky folks may be able to give you some "trouble" if your not properly protected, if you don't know what someone is asking you, next time just ask what it means.

just a helpful suggestion ;) good luck!

Spyware and trojans are strong possibie causes to speed slowdown.

Search Google for SpyBot and Lavasoft Ad=Aware. Download them, update and scan your comp with them.

Do a tracert to http://www.yahoo.com and post.

To do a tracert, click 'Start' and then 'Run'. Type "cmd" into the box and click 'ok'.

A DOS black screen will appear. Type after the C:\>

tracert http://www.yahoo.com

and press enter key

When test is completed, move mouse cursor to the DOS black screen, click right and choose 'select all'.

Move mouse cursor to the Quick Reply box of this forum, click right and 'paste'.

I do not see any fault in the tracert.

Check with your ISP whether your speed package with them is 512/128 kbps.

If your speed package is, then your comp is already optimized to achieve 90% of those speeds.

call your company and tell them to "re-provision" your modem. this will just reset your modem and may help you out.

lol no!

you need to call the company, and tell them your internet is slow, and then tell them to reprovision your modem so everything will be back to normal
