Two days back i had downloader virus on my comp and i removed with the help of the links posted in this forum.
Although the virus and all adwares nd trojans are gone but my system.sbs file is lost
so please suggest wht shud i do to get it back it will be nice if sm1 can tell wt this file does
And i hv encountered 1 more problemthat the videosongs which i had in my computer earlier they use to be played in winmed nw automatically wn i play them they are running in sm stupid 321 media player classic i dnt knw hw is it happening please help m totally confused

I don't find any results in google for system.sbs. Is it giving you an error saying it cant find the file at boot? Go to Start > Run > msconfig and in startup see if its listed there. Also post a hijackthis log here.

Holy crap, stop shortening words lol Right click a video that use to use media player, select open with, choose program, and browse to find wmplayer.exe. It may have been deleted by your virus too, so if you dont find it try reinstalling mediaplayer.
Thanks YOS actually that problem of 321 player i hv solved i found a player pack called kodeclite installed on my pc whilst i dnt knw whr it came frm i hv uninstalled it. is
And system.sbs file is missing when i use antispyware,it shows in its results.dnt knw wht it does.didnt found it in msconfig.
please help.
Thanx YOS AGAIN actually i installed antispywares from avg,spybot and spyware blaster.They are still installed.
System.sbs file went missing while i was on yahoo msngr 1 of my frnd sent me a stupid link i clicked on it nd pc caught downloader.lunii virus.in a fit i downloaded these spywares and had online check by bit defender.
And yes it shows system.sbs file missing when i do a spybot scan .
what should i do should i uninstall it.
please advice.
YOS i have uninstalles spybot and i hvnt reinstalled it but wiil do in eve.
sir i m also encountering a problem that the videos which i had on my list are nw not being played by windows media player 11 which i have.actually i deleted some k-codec thinking it was smthng stupid on my list but now i installed winxp codec but winmed is showing the error."Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file".
I don't understand wts hpng.?
some mp4 and 3gp videos wfich earlier use to play are also nt playing.
and when i right click on video it does not show play with winmed player.
yesterday i reinstalled the winmed player from microsoft site.
dnt understand wts this hpng.
