Corrupted JPG's?

Post by scj6771 »

Here is my situation, I have had several folders of pictures on my laptop for many years and I noticed the other day that some of them do not show up on my system when I go into "thumbnail" view? If I click on the picture it seems that only half of the picture shows up, I assume this is some kind of corruption prolly due to the fact that they have been transferred from computer to computer over the years. Is there a way I can fix his? these pictures are very important to me. They are all JPG's taken from a digi cam.

Sounds like part of the file is missing. If you have transfered them back and forth between folders, the whole file didn't go. Perhaps it got cancelled midway or whatever...
