...****.

I hope whatever happens to him now, well, I hope it's good and he gets to enjoy it. He was a good man.

He had quite the collection of toy trucks also, didn't he? After seeing that picture of him..the tee shirt...it's making me think of a pic he posted on toy trucks lined up on a bookshelf or something.
That's right. He has a huge shelf full of them in his office.

I want to thank everyone here who was my fathers friend for being his friend. He had few friends in person. My son Neil, has been familiar with this forum so I asked him to let people know that he had died. Neil has alot of the same values as my father and they have a strong bond. I knew this was an important forum to my father. I met my own best friend on a forum and have been close to her for six years. I dont ever underestimate the way friendships can be formed and all of you who took part in his life were a blessing to him.

Once again,
I Thank You All.

I was just wondering what had happened to him a few weeks back...

He will be greatly missed. I wouldn't say I was close to him, but I greatly admired him and his determination in not letting the news of cancer get him down...

Sad news indeed. Makes me want to search for everything he said to me here and take it to heart.

I hope it was...painless (lack of other words) for him and that he was well cared for till the last.

Tom, you will be missed... Nick and Paula, my condolences and prayers are with you and your family.

I missed this post until right now.

This is really terrible news. I hope his family are doing as well as expected.

I am so very sorry for your sad loss Neil. Thank you however for informing us. Poptom had a great spirit and heart...now he leaves that tradition up to you to fulfill in his memory. He will be sorely missed here...he was always a great source of encouragement. May God heal you and yours quickly. Look deep in your heart...he is not gone...he is just away. Angel Blessings! :(

I have been travelling a bit and also missed this news. :(

I don't really have the words. All I can say is that I am terribly sorry for your loss, and I and many others will miss him dearly. As you can see by the responses here, you are not alone in your feelings. Not by a longshot. That's a true testament to the type of man he was.

Most Respectfully,
