Today officially sucked!

Post by MadDoctor »

WTF is up with today?!?!?!?! I got jumped at work by fellow workers with all sorts of work/personal issues like I have the answers to their problems. People in the field bitched at me about their stuff not working or lack of funding or the price of tea in China. My primary computer went 8 bit on me and every program I opened generated a system error. Conference call got all screwed up and didn’t happen… but not until I got 15 calls complaining about the bridge not working right (like I made the damn thing). Get in the car and someone has dinged my door, stupid security card doesn’t work on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 try but does on the 6th. Every red light on the way home. The wife is pissed at me because her new pants don’t fit. My daughter needs to borrow a large sum of money.

I need to grab the dog and hide in the garage until the earth re-aligns itself.

Here's how I handle it, MD.

When I get up in the morning, I just figure it's monday. The rule being, every day is a Monday.

That way, I'm never disappointed.

Think of it this way...

Your close to retirement.

Use one of my favorite sayings MD. It may not fix it...but it dang sure will make you smile. Just tell them all this....I can only please one person a day...today was not yours...and tomorrow is not looking good either!! :p

Lefty's cure for a bad day. 1 bottle Three Olives Vodka, 1 Jar of Olives,1 bottle of dry vermouth. 1 tall shot glass. Head out to your private spot, pour yourself a shot of vodka straight up, munch on some olives. If some one disturbs you bust the bottle of vermouth over thier head, its all its good for. Have a better day today.
