I have a P4 2.6Ghz with 1GB of DDR RAM.
Thing is when I Ran Sandra the results showed the following....
[Processor
Model : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.60GHz
Speed : 1.30GHz
Performance Rating : PR1725 (estimated)
Cores per Processor : 1 Unit(s)
Threads per Core : 2 Unit(s)
Internal Data Cache : 8kB Synchronous, Write-Thru, 4-way set, 64 byte line size
L2 On-board Cache : 512kB ECC Synchronous, ATC, 8-way set, 64 byte line size, 2 lines per sector]
My question now lies ih the Speed: Why is it only 1.3GHZ? Does this mean its not actually running at 2.6GHZ like it should be?
To further illustrate, when I Right Click on MyComputer - under Properties and then General - it says
Intel(R)
Pentium 4 CPU 2.6GHZ
1.3GHZ, 1GB of RAM
Note the 1.3GHZ pickup here too!
Please can someone shed some light????

Thanks in advance guys!!,
