network cable unplugged

network cable unplugged

I need some help every now and again i get a pop up bottom right of my tool bar with a pic of 2 pcs and a red X when i click it i get this pop up box appering with this in it

My internet does not log off but slows down to almost a stop :cry:

make sure the network cable is pluged in also update your network card drivers

if still like that replace neteowrk cable

i am having the same kind of problem.. but it only happens when im downloading something.. wonder how i could fix this

make sure the network cards are in the same duplex mode drivers are up to date if all that doesn't work try replacing the cable.

Have you tried a different USB cable?
Are you plugged into any USB hubs splitting the connection with other devices like a scanner or printer?
Update your motherboard chipset drivers (which can update USB bus drivers)

i already managed to fix this... i scanned my pc with ad-aware and found some spywares... and when i deleted all of it, my connection went to normal... try it for yourself maybe it will fix yours too

If you have a router.. try another ethernet port... instead of using port 1 then use port 2.. Alot of times this can help fix the issue..

the manufacture of the network card you own goto my computer control panel system then find you network adapter then iclik on the plus sign it should tell who make the network card and the model of it.

Im still having a problem with this

Thing is i dont have a network set up on my pc, yet if i disable the network connections it wont allow me on the net :cry:

why would mymodem need to have a network connection if i dont have one ????
