Its a good thing the US is there to help. I guess that why 100% of Iraqi citizens are happy to be liberated, never want the US to leave and show their troops gratitude and affection whenever they see them.

you know your lambasting of the US is getting a little old. Maybe the US should just not try and help anymore. Hell lets leave it to the French, Germans, Russians,Pakastanie, Turkey and the rest of the world to step up to the plate and at least try to help. You like to spout off at the mouth and try to degrade what ever action the US takes. Tell me this what other county has stepped up to the plate as many times as the US and given so much for others.

Who are we to say anything about gassing of their own people. We placed shiploads of sailors close by to Nuclear Detonations, We have hit our own troops with Agent Orange (That they still deny) and the last war the mysterious Desert Storm disease that they also deny. There have also been other testing on americans of other noxious, poisonous weapons as well. We should clean up our own backyard. They knew about that crap in Iraq ages ago and did nothing. I saw films of people in Sudan and other SA countries going around chopping people with Machetti's , men , women and children, entire villages. We did nothing there. What was so damn special about Iraq?

Outside of the obvious? Very little.

I never claimed we're perfect. We certainly have more than our fair share of skeletons in our closets. However, I do believe that intent makes a difference, even if the end result does share some similarities. Saddam knew fully what he was doing, and his goal was murder. I can only hope (for lack of a better term) that accidents or even gross negligence are to blame for the related problems which have inflicted our troops or citizens. While I highly doubt that the event(s) or action(s) that caused something like Gulf War Syndrome were intentional, I wish someone would come clean about it.

Honestly, I think places like Sudan are going to be a real test of Bush's "war on terror." We'll get to see if this is simply a war against those directly responsible for 9/11 and the man who tried to off W's father, or if this is truly an attempt to rid the world of evil dictators and terrorists who threaten the free world.

We went to Iraq for the right reasons. To get rid of a brutal dictator who massacred his own people. He also had Weapons of Mass Destruction. The man was able to bury several fighter jets in the sand, how hard is it to bury small containers of chemical weapons.

I bet the people who are no longer in Saddam's rape rooms and torture chambers are glad you liberals aren't calling the shots.

Even though I'm NO fan of Clinton, he did initiate Desert Fox....or do you just want to forget about that little tidbit of information. and that was while the Republicans had control of Congress.

Again, I ask...what did the Republicans do in the 10+ years leading up to the war in Iraq? Maintain the staus quo?????
