weird...

i dont know why but this morning it seems like every time i go to a new page or hit like the reply button i have to refresh the page. the bar almost gets to the end at the bottom and it stops.. i think this is the first one today i havent had to refresh on speedguide. any ideas as to why?

Yes, some of our ad servers were having a problem. We believe to have the problem fixed now. Sorry for any inconvenience... :)

ok thanks, just seemed a little wierd (hence the title) cause it was happening like every time i clicked something like general disscussion board or w/e. thx again for the explanation

same here, performance has been slow on SG since yesterday for me

while the rest of the sites i visit are snappy fast

Philip & I just got off of the phone about 20 minutes ago...

The ads displayed on SG come from various ad servers. We were having a problem with some of them being extremely slow, however, we believe that we determined which ads it was and have temp. removed them out of rotation...

Whenever you refresh the page, it gives you a different ad. For example, the ads from Google, are always are fast, so when it came to a page set to show a google ad, it would open fast, from another source, it couldn't display the ad, so the page would drag, if you follow...
