this brand is much cheaper than others such as Sony. How does it compare? is it cheaper quality?

wrong forum about the performance it depends who you ask. I buy cheeper ram and have no promblems but the more you spend usually you get a little more memory bandwith and the latency timer is lower so it is faster most times more stable.

i'm talking about the memory stick for digital such as digital cameras.

I would imagine it would be the same as the computer though ram is ram in most cases i could be wrong

It all comes off the same line. The only difference is what sticker they put on it. At least that is what I believe.

I had a SanDisk CF card go corrupt on me only a couple months ago, although I'm leaning towards the source being LAX's uber-zappers.

Beyond that, I have had no problems with their CF cards.

I have a 128 Sony Memory Disk, 128 Lexar Memory Disk and a 128 Sandisk Memory Disk. I use all three on a constant basis. There is no noticable difference between them (except that the off brand ones were cheaper). Save yourself a few bucks and get it.
