What do you think is the problem?

Post by Bababooey »

For the past week or so my screen has been acting funny, like it will readjust itself or twitch or fizzle like if I'm auto calibrating it with my monitor. I switched between two different video cards and the samething keeps happening so its not the video card. Could it be my HD going bad? or a flakey power supply? or perhaps my motherboard going bad?

try plugging the monitor directly into a wall socket. avoid plugging a monitor into a surge protector.

might help. solved my monitor problem.

Because two nights ago my primary HD died on me right after my screen fizzled really hard, perhaps it was a coincidence. :(

I will try what you both suggest though, I hope it works, and thanks for your help.
